In April of 2008 Jordan Schafer was suspended 50 games by Major League Baseball after being accused of HGH use. However, he never tested positive for HGH, nor was he proven to have purchased HGH.
Whatever you want to tell yourself… it’s a technicality. He failed the test.
He didn’t get off on a technicality. In the MLB drug policy proper courier and deadlines for testing are mandatory AND essential for testing. It is mentioned over 20+ times that these conditions must be upheld. They were not.
As fans what we have to remember, the MLB has a reputation, egos, and…
So Ryan Braun got off because someone didn’t drop the sample off at FEDex in time. What the hell is wrong with MLB? Bud Selig has to be held accountable for this… He’s presided over the most disgraceful period in baseball history and now his organization can’t even follow basic directions.
Instead he’s the Commissioner for life. This is absolutely ridiculous.
