The game wasn’t pretty, but thanks to Chipper the Braves won their first game of the season. Hanson kept the Astros with 2 runs, but he threw a lot of pitchers and didn’t pitch past the 5th inning.
The Untouchables pitched the 6, 7, 8, and 9 and surrendered two runs, but the Braves held on thanks to some timely hitting late in the game. Kimbrel wrapped it up, but there some scary moments.
How about a 7-2 game tonight?
The highlights are Chipper’s HR on his second at bat back from knee surgery and Pastornicky’s first career HR.
