The Atlanta Braves are now 0-4 against the Mets after last night’s 6-1 loss. Hanson pitched well but made three mistakes. An errant throw to first cost him one run. A hanging curveball cost him three, and a wild pitch scored the other.
The defining moment was the hanging curveball to Ike Davis who hasn’t been hitting well. Hanson threw several breaking balls to Davis. Was he scare to throw a fastball? Anyway… the Braves offense was nowhere to be found again. Jason Heyward had two hits, but the rest of the team was lost at the plate.
The next two pitching match-ups don’t look for the Braves. Hopefully, last night was just an off night for the offense.
